I see people panicking about the tariff and what will be available in the stores. OMG, it’s toilet paper 101 all over again. Folks, if you understand the basics, tariffs decoupling from China is a Godsend, so let’s get into it.
This is a period of transition, and it will hurt the Chinese 100X times more than us. Our own Great Depression, which began in 1929, proves that.
What caused it was that after WWI, the French and British were getting massive reparations from the Germans and buying American goods. Hence, America became the China of today, an export economy holding a lot of foreign debt.
When the German mark collapsed and it took a wheelbarrow of currency to buy a loaf of bread, the French and British stopped buying. We hit the wall because we were exporting far beyond our needs and holding foreign debt, and stockbrokers were jumping out of windows.
The outcome of all this is that the CCP in China is hitting the wall hard. They have a perfect storm: ridiculous real estate debacles that have destroyed the savings of many Chinese. Their one-child policy reduced the birth rate to 1.0 or so, which means an aging population and not enough young workers to cover social security.
But what is hurting them the most is what put us into the 1929 Great Depression. China exports far beyond what its people can afford, let alone consume.
Being typical communists, the CCP is responding with aggression and is fighting a fight it does not understand, nor can it win. They are already reaching out to other nations to join in a revolt against America, and so far, North Korea and Iran are on board.
Everyone else is sick of their abusive antics and their Belt and Road debacles with shoddy workmanship and hopeless corruption. Ergo, all the chickens are coming home to roost for the CCP, and unless Trump throws them a bone, their days are numbered as a political force.
I believe they will fall, and a new government will replace them. In the meantime, what about us? We’ve heard about outsourcing for decades, and ask anyone in the Rust Belt what it means.
While Dems in the coastal archipelagos of America profited from the gutting of American labor, it was good times for them and suck all for everyone else. It’s why the Democrat party walked away from the workers and focused on the wealthy for money and black ghettos for votes.
Gee, that’s not working out so well for them, and no wonder their party has a 21% popularity rate. They have become the party of perversion, chaos, crime, corruption, and poverty.
Now you ask, but what about me? You’ll be fine, because supply chains can and do move. Right now, other nations making good deals with Trump are capturing much of China’s manufacturing.
Is Walmart freaked? No. They’ve started a new program to help entrepreneurs begin manufacturing businesses here in America to satisfy demand—no more outsourcing jobs. We’re insourcing employment and prosperity.
Who is wailing and crying? Everyone who profited from the gutting of America. Hard-working Americans in the flyover states are going to feel a refreshing change of purpose and prosperity in their lives that the Dems who call them Deplorables will never understand.
So, if it makes you feel good to stock up on toilet paper, go for it. Otherwise, sit tight because good times are coming and they will be amazing.
