Sadhguru: Ananda went and stayed in the prostitute’s home. Being the monsoon season, it got cold, so she gave him a nice silk wrap. He covered himself with it. She made nice food and gave it to him, and he ate. In the evening, she danced for him. He sat, watching with utmost attention. The townspeople said, “This is it, he is finished.” When the monsoon stopped and it was time to move, Ananda came to Gautama and with him came a female monk.
It is natural for human intelligence to seek the highest. People may be caught up with something – getting drunk, drugs, or their social drama – but their aspiration is for the highest. We just have to make them understand that there are better highs.
