Following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas War and Tel Aviv’s siege in Gaza, an old video of British journalist Christopher Hitchens’ debate with former British PM Tony Blair, held in Toronto on 26 November 2010, has gone viral.
Hitchens posits that although a majority of the Jews, Arabs, and the international community support a two-state solution for the Israel-Palestine conflict, this desire is hindered, and the efforts for it retarded, by extremist religious motives, forces, and groups in the fray.
