After 26 days in space, Orion is coming back down to Earth! Artemis 1 // Orion will splash down in the Pacific Ocean, Sunday December 11, off the coast of Baja California at 12:40 p.m. Eastern [17:40 UTC].
Orion successfully launched on top of the first launch of the Space Launch System [SLS] rocket on Nov. 16. The reentry and successful recovery of the spacecraft is the biggest and most important test in this mission.
