In this interview, Sandi Adams has a candid and eye-opening conversation with Laurence Cumbie, also known as Lark in Texas, about communitarianism, a philosophy and legal framework that is subtly influencing modern governance while undermining our freedoms.
The big bad ‘C’ is rarely discussed, but it’s important to recognise and challenge it. Communitarianism is EU Communitarian Law, a fusion of communism (thesis) and capitalism (antithesis) resulting in synthesis (communitarianism). Tony Blair called it the ‘Third Way’. David Cameron called it ‘Big Society’. It’s global, but it’s being implemented locally.
We delved into how this ideology is presented as harmless ‘community values’ but conceals a deeper agenda where individual rights are secondary to collective responsibilities. Terms like ‘quality of life’, ‘sustainability’, and ‘social cohesion’ are used to manipulate public perception.
We also discussed the link between communitarianism and technocracy — how the former provides the ideological justification, while the latter enforces it through data and algorithmic control. From the manipulation of language to the erosion of property rights, from mental control to depopulation agendas disguised as progress, this episode is unflinching. We concluded with a strong call to awareness and action; the only way forward is to reclaim our autonomy, understand the frameworks being used against us, and create alternative models based on truth and sovereignty.
In a world filled with various ‘isms’ like Marxism, socialism, communism, and fascism, communitarianism might be less familiar. This episode focuses not only on the term and its definition but also on its implementation at the local level. Communitarianism highlights the link between individuals and their community. It is based on the belief that a person’s social identity and personality are largely shaped by community relationships, with little emphasis on individualism.
We discussed how communitarianism is being implemented in the UK by Parliament, through the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill 2024, for example, with frequently used terms like equity, sustainability, civil society, and community. These terms may seem harmless, but their powerful memes can trigger collective mind shifts and steer us towards outcomes desired by those in power, ultimately threatening independent thought and eliminating individual rights.
Laurence ‘Lark’ Cumbie is a researcher and expert on communitarianism. He is a retired chef, serial entrepreneur, and businessman in Richardson, Texas. He states that communitarianism is pervasive in American life and language, propagated through memetic warfare and social engineering by Big Media and the Department of Defence. Lark can be found on Facebook, on WhatsApp, and on his website.
