From our recent conversation “Ancient Rhythms: Dreaming into Death and Renewal” , Francis Weller’s speaks on our “ancestral inheritance” that “unforgotten wisdom at the core of the psyche” that we can connect to were we only able to overcome the “two primary sins of western civilization: amnesia and anesthesia”.
This conversation invited participants into a virtual ceremonial space at the threshold of winter’s deepest darkness (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere). Through poetry, storytelling, and depth-filled dialogue, this solstice offering created a contemplative space to honor life’s cyclical nature—embracing grief, releasing what no longer serves, and awakening to the tender seeds of potential waiting in the fertile darkness.
