Organisations started by respected Federal Reserve critic G. Edward Griffin over the last decade or so launched the annual Red Pill Expo, which, based on the metaphor of The Matrix movie, challenges people to take that pill, so to speak, in order to get a true glimpse of ‘reality’. Accordingly, the Expo explores the many corners and crevices of what’s generally known as the New World Order. UK Column’s Mark Anderson continues his coverage of this event to explore key insights and help clear the air, so solutions can come forth to expand the scope of human knowledge, freedom, and morality in a world that often seems to be spinning out of control.
The Red Pill Expo takes place in city after city in the US and packs considerable punch. Although costs and logistics recently prompted the Expo’s organisers to consider having only virtual online events, the most recent Expo, held 12-13 July in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was both in-person and live-streamed.
That Oklahoma Expo, among other things, definitively exposed the way that education has been warped and steeped in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (UN), while also expounding on the scale and nature of the UN’s worldwide base of operations — to name just two samples out of a slate of 20 speakers who covered substantial ground in various subject areas, especially the hidden corners and perils of the surveillance grid being built all around us, along with critical insights into medical, vaccine, and food-related matters.
This was the third Red Pill Expo covered by UK Column, which started with live coverage of the Indianapolis Expo in mid-2022, followed by some virtual coverage of the Utah Expo in latter 2022 — and now virtual coverage of the 2025 Tulsa event. This UK Column writer (Mark Anderson) first covered the Expo in latter 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona, before joining UK Column as a regular correspondent.
Produced by Red Pill University, under the auspices of Freedom Force International, both of which were founded by longtime Federal Reserve and cancer cures researcher and author G. Edward Griffin, the Red Pill Expo is among the few surviving popular US-based live conferences. It is unique on a world scale.
For the Tulsa Expo, it was decided that the camaraderie of getting together under one roof was the most effective and inspiring way to address some of the most vexing issues of the day, on the basis of the theme of the dystopian 1999 movie The Matrix, in which those who took the ‘Red Pill’ could experience reality as it really is; hence, the name and meaning of the Expo.
Regarding the UN
The timing to dissect UN issues was spot on; the New York City-based world body was born, via the approval of the UN Charter 80 years ago in San Francisco, having been sired by Rockefeller money that paid for the land on which the UN’s headquarters was established along the East River.
Alex Newman and William F. Jasper, both senior editors at The New American magazine, provided crucial information pertaining to the UN at this crucial juncture. Newman focused on education and revealed the UN’s role in degrading and politicising it. For Jasper’s part, he described some of the projects carried out through the UN’s operational zones that comprise its worldwide base.
Educational Madness
Newman’s presentation, ‘Get Ready Now for Biological Robots’, meant that our children would be, in effect, robotised via mind-addling education — an intriguing twist in a world where we usually hear robotics will literally replace humans in various ways via transhumanism.
The United Nations’ assault on free speech and freedom of expression is escalating to the point where the controversial global organisation is targeting school children, Newman warned, reiterating the points in his recent video podcast Behind the Deep State.
As Newman noted, and UK Column confirmed, the UN’s Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced a new initiative this summer to train teachers and school staff on combating what it describes as ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘misinformation’ among their students. Teachers are even encouraged to report their students to the authorities in some cases.
UNESCO Withdrawal
In conservative/constitutional circles where parents and local schoolteachers are deemed to be the proper educators of youth, the idea of such a lofty educational entity like UNESCO is, at best, unnecessary, but perhaps even perilous.
As Newman emphasised at the Expo, when you add the ‘woke’ ultra-liberal worldview that defines UNESCO’s credo to the equation, and the corrosive social policies which that worldview tends to engender, the important question of whether to maintain US membership and financial support of the UN affiliate, and of the UN in general, will naturally arise from time to time.
While controversial federal educational crusades such as the ‘No Child Left Behind’ scheme and the more recent ‘Common Core’ curriculum represent attempts to, in effect, globalise education at the national level, UNESCO — a global school curriculum leader, coordinator, and facilitator founded chiefly by humanist/internationalist Julian Huxley — has been an enduring presence since 1946. It has received praise in international circles, as well as condemnation in many quarters.
Only a week after the Expo ended, US President Donald Trump announced the probable full withdrawal of the US from UNESCO, though he went beyond UNESCO’s globalist liberal agenda and cited its support for Palestine as another reason to withdraw, a controversial angle since some of those in Trump’s base of political support are sympathetic toward Palestinians, including toward Palestinian Christians, given what many see as disproportionate and brutal Israeli military actions in Gaza.
The Trump Administration’s press release about the reasons behind its UNESCO withdrawal specified, in part:
Continued involvement in UNESCO is not in the [US] national interest. UNESCO [advances] divisive social and cultural causes and maintains an outsized focus on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, a globalist, ideological agenda … at odds with our America First foreign policy.
When it comes to UNESCO, the social and cultural causes Trump referred to include UNESCO’s Health and Education Resource Centre, and its apparently unbounded support for widespread abortion, at a time when Worldometer data online show abortion was the leading cause of death worldwide — upwards of 73 million lives snuffed out — in 2024 alone.
And the WHO, while it acknowledges that so many induced abortions take place, does not formally classify abortion as an actual cause of death. That speaks volumes about the largely dehumanising worldview of UN agencies at a time when the human population is tanking from exceedingly low birthrates in places like South Korea, Japan, and to a somewhat lesser extent in the UK, the US, and many European nations.
Moreover, as Newman has reported, UNESCO supports gender-bender surgeries, LGBTQ rights, and so-called gender equality measures that may sound acceptable to the man on the street but actually undercut the traditional family.
Furthermore, UNESCO provides propagandistic resources for school curricula on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (‘Quality Education’ is Goal 4 of the 17 SDGs). The UNESCO International Bureau of Education provides various resources such as research papers, curriculum guides. and teaching strategies that tout world governance under a secular humanist-socialist worldview with highly relative moral standards, far removed from Christian nation-states with a more solid moral code.
UNESCO also has disseminated school instruction materials to combat ‘conspiracy theories’, with a special emphasis on ‘climate deniers’, ‘election deniers’, and other incorrigibles, as Newman has revealed.
UNESCO Director Gen. Audrey Azoulay stated in 2022: “The fight against conspiracy theories begins at school … yet teachers worldwide lack the adequate training [to fight them]”.
Newman also discussed the questionable concepts, and founding organisations behind, what’s known as Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), a field where the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) appears to be a major player.
Among the organisations that have provided CASEL with financial support are the New York-based NoVo Foundation, the notorious Gates Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). NoVo is headed by Peter Buffett, the son of billionaire investment guru Warren Buffett. NoVo and RWJF are both heavy donors to ultra-liberal and globalist causes. Notably, the RWJF has a partnership with the Associated Press in its reporting of health issues, guaranteeing a built-in bias in favour of Big Pharma and the vaccine industry. NoVo funds CASEL’s Collaborating Districts Initiative in 20 school districts across the US.
According to the impartial research website InfluenceWatch, in 2020, CASEL’s President and CEO Karen Niemi, a critic of color-blind approaches to education, “announced an update to the definition of SEL to embrace far-left ideas of racial identity aligned with critical race theory. Among the changes was changing the framework ‘to affirm the identities’ of students”.
Newman accordingly took issue with CASEL due to its overemphasis on emotional concepts, an approach that has a tendency to undermine real learning and subvert the traditional morals and sense of identity of classroom students under the guise of genuine education.
Touching on the spiritual dimensions, or lack thereof, in modern education, Newman quoted late education guru Orestes Brownson (1803-1976) as saying:
The great object was to get rid of Christianity … the plan was not to make open attacks on religion although we might belabor the clergy and bring them into contempt where we could, but to establish a system of state — we said national — schools, from which all religion was to be excluded, in which nothing was to be taught but such knowledge as is verifiable by the senses and to which all parents would be compelled by law to send their children.
Fighting Techno-Tyranny
Expo presenters Sean Tario and Glenn Meder dove into the dark side of the digital revolution — starting with the observation that your own computer, in essence, may be spying on you. Tario cited the dangers to privacy and freedom inherent in computer features such as Microsoft Copilot and the growing AI phenomenon.
Tario strongly recommended open source measures to boost online security and privacy; examples include disk encryption software as well as password management software for the secure storage of passwords.
Meder and Tario also gave strong emphasis to digital IDs and so-called child safety bills, explaining that they are “two heads of the same beast”.
Meder noted that such IDs will be tied to electronic forms of payment and to “authorise access to services digitally” while adding that, just as the world banking fraternity captured the monetary system, the Big Tech/government partnership is all about capturing key data from everyone.
“I don’t want to live in fear; I want to help people”, Meder remarked.
Tario, who attended Silicon Valley technology courses in the 1990s, recalls pouring through the USA Patriot Act that Congress impulsively approved soon after 9/11. While realising then that the Patriot Act is all about tracking all citizens under the guise of ‘fighting terror’, Tario came to understand that “the Vanguards, the Blackjacks and the State Streets” of the world “own the servers” that comprise the core infrastructure of the internet, signaling elite control of the overall system.
Where that is all headed, these two presenters noted, is an unpleasant place, involving the federal Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA). Under that US legislation, federal agencies such as Commerce, the Federal Communications Commission, and the Securities and Exchange Commission are instructed to enact measures that will lead to “absolute surveillance”, Meder noted.
Meder and Tario also showed a headline that indicated Australia’s federal government is considering forcing Aussies to provide digital IDs just to visit social media and dating sites. And although it may seem somewhat logical for something as personal as dating services to require an ID — just as sensitive online materials deemed unsuitable for children may require an ID to make sure that only adults are accessing those materials — the action is in the reaction, since any situations in which digital IDs are made acceptable may simply be a means of implanting the general idea of requiring such IDs practically everywhere online.
“Digital IDs are coming to social media in California’s crackdown”, Meder also clarified, referring to state-level legislation, while adding: “To ID a kid’s age — to protect them from porn — you have to ‘ID’ everybody’s age”.
Showing recent headlines, Meder and Tario quoted The Verge’s piece: ‘Child Safety Bills Are Reshaping the Internet for Everyone’. They also cited a CNBC piece about Utah’s governor signing an online safety bill into law, requiring Apple and Google to verify users’ ages.
While saying “this is not a left or right issue,” the duo also noted: “They’re ready for this — the infrastructure is ready for this … say goodbye to passports”. They mentioned Apple’s new digital ID in the iPhone’s Apple Wallet.
UN Expansionism
In William F. Jasper’s Red Pill Expo presentation, ‘On the Brink of UN World Government’, he started by noting that the basic idea of world government “has been around for millennia” via several oligarchies, empires, and other powerful entities.
Although actually achieving full-bore world government has so far eluded the power seekers that wanted it, as the world passed through the 19th and 20th centuries and into the present time, radical ‘Marxist-collectivist’ movements, many of which were underwritten by certain monopoly capitalists, started to press harder for a supranational economic and political infrastructure that could eventually be empowered as a fully functional centralised world state. The overall movement appears to be accelerating.
Indeed, Jasper said that, even within the last 48 hours of his 12 July Tulsa address, UN-related major developments took place, such as WHO member states taking the next steps on a ‘pandemic agreement’ or ‘treaty’.
“WHO issued guidelines that were taken up and issued by authorities all over the world”, Jasper said, recalling the WHO’s role in fostering tyranny via the Covid lockdown in 2020, due to the so-called ‘pandemic’, or, more precisely, ‘plandemic’.
Jasper stressed that WHO-backed mandates, jabs, social distancing, and the incarceration of people in their own homes or in hospitals and nursing homes suddenly became widespread, amid an unprecedented effort “to put the entire planet in a health dictatorship”.
Accordingly, Jasper illustrated his remarks with a slide that showed 20 different world offices of UN agencies, including, of course, the (WHO) in Geneva, the International Meteorological Organization office in London, the International Monetary Fund and World Bank offices in Washington, the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands, and several others in Rome, etc., so as to highlight the point that just as UN agencies dot the world’s landscape to a greater degree than most people realise — various UN-backed schemes to heavily in-debt vulnerable nations and break down national borders spring forth from such far-flung UN management locations.
“Several hundred non-governmental organisations, or NGOs … are headquartered in Geneva”, Jasper noted, along with numerous UN operations there beyond just the WHO, all of which constitute nonstop efforts to break down nation-states beyond the immediate view and understanding of busy everyday citizens.
Jasper showed a UN map published in a recent New American edition on which green circles indicate ongoing IMF-World Bank projects, where money from US taxpayers and from various other nations’ taxpayers is used to advance UN policies and projects, including ‘depopulation programmes’.
And the blue helmet markers on the same map indicate UN ‘peacekeeping’ missions by UN-designated troops, which Jasper said do more harm than good in many instances. Notably, this UK Column reporter interviewed Daniel New, the son of Michael New, a former Army soldier who refused to disregard the US Constitution by fighting under UN Command. This pivotal matter greatly clarifies the fundamental problem of the UN having its own military forces.
Where did the WHO ultimately get the power and influence “where they could shut down the entire planet with barely any protest from political leaders?” Jasper asked.
Part of the answer, he said, can be found in the beliefs and actions of ‘Doctor to the World’ Mr. G. Brock Chisholm, the WHO’s first Director-General when it was formed in 1948. The Canadian-born psychiatrist, Jasper recalled, was infamous for saying that “parents poisoned their children’s brains and their thoughts” and that “children needed to be removed from the influence of their parents”, because “the state must raise and indoctrinate the children that belong to the state”.
Changing gears while showing one of his New American articles, ‘Invasion USA: Globalist Summit Wants to Spur More Mass Migration’, Jasper noted: “We have a border issue; we have an invasion issue”.
Speaking of Council on Foreign Relations member and UN International Organization for Migration (IOM) Director General Amy Pope, Jasper noted that hundreds of NGO foot soldiers go to the IMO offices she oversees in Geneva in order to get direction — with millions of dollars at their disposal to loosen up the borders and ensure that illegal immigration keeps moving; meanwhile, any serious efforts to prevent this influx are brusquely deemed a violation of immigrants’ rights while Americans’ rights for secure borders are largely ignored.
Jasper credited virtual Expo speaker Michael Yon, a former US soldier and intelligence analyst-turned-journalist — who has been interviewed on UK Column — for visiting key border areas and migrant routes to witness how the various UN agencies meddle in mass illegal immigration. Notably, Yon addressed the Red Pill Expo from Japan on largely the same matters.
Jasper noted: “Michael Yon, Todd Bensman, and the muckraker journalists have been doing the dangerous work … [the legacy media] could have been doing”, which includes exploring the Darien Gap, a dangerous, roadless, and dense jungle route that connects South America (Colombia) with Central America (Panama) along the vast migration route to the US.
The UN and its associated NGOs have been doing this for decades. “They are playing the long game; they have a long horizon. They know it’s going to take a long time to do this, and it’s going to take billions and billions of dollars”, Jasper remarked, while acknowledging that globalist-backed subversive activities are blowing up, or undermining the economies of, various countries whose embattled inhabitants “have to go somewhere”, which usually means the US, the UK, or various European destinations, depending on the origins and circumstances of the migrants.
And if you’re Klaus Schwab, former head of the World Economic Forum, and you exploit or create several serious crises “or the perception of crises” at the same time, then you can claim to have the solution and, in tandem with the UN, grab more power, Jasper went on to say.
Direct UN Taxes?
The UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) is apparently seeking direct revenue from transoceanic shipping, via a possible tax on cargo vessels with respect to the vessels’ ‘carbon footprint, Jasper stated, adding: “This is the closest they’ve gotten to [instituting this tax] and they’re very close to getting it into place”.
If this tax comes to pass, then, via the IMO, “The UN suddenly would have a windfall; they wouldn’t have to come to the US Congress which pays most of the UN’s bills”, Jasper added, indicating this would greatly empower the UN to move its overall agenda forward faster. The resulting revenue, he said, would accelerate the Agenda 2030 SDGs, so-called ‘net-zero’ climate emissions goals, etc. Consequently, other UN environmental and income taxes could become possibilities “as long as we are in the UN”.
Quoting former UN General Assembly President Peter Thomson: “The 2030 Agenda presents the world with what I have termed a Master Plan for Humanity to achieve a sustainable way of life on the planet”.
In Summary
The 2025 Tulsa Red Pill Expo presented an array of topics that’s too broad to fully do justice here.
