The Kabbalah and many of the insights of Plato involved turning one state of Prima Materia into another. This knowledge was concealed inside allegories and stories, and even psychological frame works as archetypes. This Prima Materia is also known as the first matter, and is the foundation substance or state that everything else comes from. It has also been likened to the aether or the fifth element.
This process of turning the prima materia into a new state of being is called The Great Work by the Freemasons, and the Philosophers Stone or Magnum Opus by the alchemists.
The Mount of Olives
I was recently working on a video about the biblical narrative that would require both the Christians and those of the Jewish faith to be on the Mount of Olives at the same time.
This incident in the “prophecies” of the Biblical text, is a point in time where both faiths believe they will be greeted by their respective Messiah figures. The Messiah will lead them into victory over the enemy and into a new Golden Age or Sabbath. As we know, they cant both be true, so one must prevail over the other.
I discussed my take and theories about this prophecy with Wayne McRoy of the alchemicaltechrevolution.com on our Syncromystic podcast. Wayne suggested that another way of looking at the meeting on the Mount of Olives is as an alchemical wedding.
Wayne is one the sharpest minds in occult and alternative research. As a Christian he has a great way of incorporating other avenues of research into his work that many others shut themselves off from due to their religious beliefs.
It was Wayne who described to me the story of the Lion and the Wolf and its alchemical narrative.
The Lion And The Wolf
When broken down into its base form, the concept of the Lion and the Wolf is about an alchemical process that combines or uses the elements of Silver and Gold to either purify the Gold or combine the characteristics of the two in order to create something new.
In totality It is a process and method of purification and transformation.
In the context of the meeting of Christianity and Judaism on the Mount of Olives we have the gold /Sun cult of Rome meeting with the Silver/Moon cult of Judaism.
The Romans worshiped the pagan Sol Invictus, among others, before they were converted over to Christianity and monotheism. Orthodox Jews worship Yahweh, the god of the old testament and it’s female aspect Shekhinah who is symbolised by the moon. The moon is often symbolised by silver or the wolf.
So we have:
The Nations/Rome – Christianity – Gold – Lion
Jerusalem/Israel – Judaism – Silver – Wolf
I would suggest that the Islamic faith is being used as the kindling, to create the destructive spark of war between Christianity and Judaism.
Remember this is all based on alchemical knowledge of how to turn one substance into another. The symbols and terminology are just that, symbolic of the process and not to be taken literally. The language and symbolism tap into a knowing that goes beyond the literal.
