Signs 108 – The Bitch Is Back : Your Own World USA

Signs 108 - The Bitch Is BackAfter October 2025, we expected another gentle rise in the data for November 2025, but the numbers left us breathless.  As I reviewed the data from JP Jones, the old Elton John song “The Bitch Is Back” (1974) came to mind.

Look at the image to the right.  Those with military experience know that whoever took that photo of a gunship flying towards two suns in the sky was a wingman flying in formation.

This means that at least two military crews flying Bell UH-1 Iroquois, also known as “Huey,” witnessed this firsthand, and that is as real as it gets.

After I posted this image on X, I asked Grok to explain it, and here is part of what AI replied:

GROK / X.COM: “Recent online discussions link similar “two suns” visuals to comets like 3I/ATLAS or religious prophecies, but experts attribute them to optical illusions like sun dogs or lens artifacts, with no verified global event reported in early December 2025.”

Well, readers, let me ask you.  Who is as stupid as a box of rocks here?  At least two Huey flight crews made eyewitness observations or Grok.  After you draw your own conclusion, read the numbers because they have a simple message.

No matter what Grok says, Nemesis will become the largest object in our sky in 2026, and it will be omnipresent.  Now let’s get into the numbers.

November 2025 Fireballs

Fireballs are reported worldwide, and the American Meteor Society is the primary source for this dataset in North America.

AMS Multistate / Country Fireballs

Multistate/country fireballs cross the borders of multiple states and countries. This is a critical category in the dataset because these fireballs must travel a great distance to receive reports from across large geographic areas.  We refer to these types of fireballs as “skimmers” because they exhibit flat trajectories.

November 2025 set a new record for this dataset for the month, going back to 2021.  When JP Jones sent me the data, he casually mentioned, “Interesting to say the least with multistate.”  OK, JP tends to be a bit understated.  Not me.

This went far beyond the usual ‘close call’, or ‘edging out the previous months’, and my first impression of what JP mentioned was “Holy Nemesis, Batman.  The Bitch Is Back, so queue up “Ride of the Valkyries – Apocalypse Now.”

AMS Huge Event Fireballs

It’s commonplace for Multistate / Country Fireballs to be reported as huge events because a fireball is considered a huge event when 100 or more eyewitnesses report it.  We call them “plungers” because they have a steep trajectory.

November 2025 ties for second place with October of this year.  What is important to note is that Nemesis was at perihelion in 2021 and 2022.  Now, it’s on its aphelion leg, and we wonder if December will equal or top 2022.

AMS Monthly Total Fireballs

The monthly total fireballs are the most critical category in this dataset, and November 2025 showed a hockey stick uptick, bringing it significantly ahead of the previous two years.

The monthly numbers for November 2025 flat-out hit us in the face like a dead salmon.  This hockey stick number skyrocketed over 2023 and 2024, placing this November 2025 in second place overall for this dataset.

‘Bear in mind, since 2022, we’ve basically treated November 2022 as a possible fluke.  Well, cowboys and cowgirls, we’re fluke out of luck this time, and it will be interesting to see the numbers for December 2025 when they become available.

Yearly AMS Fireball Totals

We are ten months into the year, and October 2025 has surpassed 2023 and 2024, raising a question.  What will this data subset look like next January, and will it beat the previous two years?

AMS Yearly Fireballs for 1/2021 to 11/2025

With two months to go, it appears that November 2025 will surpass 2023 and 2024 by year’s end.  We’ll have a better idea once December comes in.  The question becomes, will 2025 play second fiddle to 2022, or will it shatter all previous records?  One thing is for sure: Odds are it will be darn close if 2025 tops 2021.

According to Volcano Discovery data, the November 2025 reading fell below the October 2025 reading by a statistically significant margin.  Conversely, USGS, with its data capping strategy, went in the opposite direction.  They’re so predictable.
