In our April 2, 2025, installment, Signs 99 – The Plunge Has Begun, we said, “Looking forward to the rest of 2025, we expect this uptick trend to continue to August 2025. After that, significant and noticeable events will begin to occur, along with solar events.”
The 8.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred off Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on July 30, 2025, ended that month with a very noticeable event, and it was the first of several that now haunt us in August.
As Nemesis continues its downward plunge towards the ecliptic and eventual alignment with Earth, that will trigger a catastrophic pole shift, we’re no longer wondering if the 8.8 Kamchatka earthquake was an isolated event. Rather, it was like the sound of a rifle bullet being loaded. It has begun, so let’s get into the numbers.
After we look at the numbers, I want to give some thoughts on what you can do to prepare your family. Not for the pole shift due in 2030, but more practical interim measures that could keep you and your family safe during the bumpy ride ahead.
July 2025 Fireballs
Fireballs are reported worldwide, and the American Meteor Society is the primary source for this North American dataset.
AMS Multistate / Country Fireballs
Multistate/country fireballs cross the borders of multiple states and countries. This is a critical category in the dataset because these fireballs must travel a great distance to receive reports from across large geographic areas. We call these types of fireballs “skimmers” because they have flat trajectories.
July 2025 squeaked past the same period in 2022 to become the highest record month in this five-year reporting group. This is ominous.

AMS Huge Event Fireballs
It’s commonplace for Multistate / Country Fireballs to be reported as huge events because a huge event occurs when 100 or more eyewitness observers report it. We call them “plungers” because they have a steep trajectory.
July 2025 tied with 2023 for this same period. Now the question becomes, how will it compare with August 2024 in our next Signs installment?
AMS Monthly Total Fireballs
The monthly total fireballs are the most critical category in this dataset, and July 2025 showed an alarming uptick, bringing it significantly ahead of the previous period and into first place.
July 2025 claimed top honors for this dataset, and it was slim, but not a squeaker. The portends more anomalies in our skies and impactors as shown below.

We are halfway into the year, and July 2025 has jumped well above the previous month, and this raises a question. What will this data subset look like next January?
Nemesis is now plunging downward as it begins to arc over Earth’s orbit. Once it does, this trend will increase dramatically.
USGS vs. VOLCANO DISCOVERY 2025 YTD
Volcano Discovery is a recognized news portal for earthquake and volcano updates. Volcano Discovery is an adventure tour operator that conducts geotours and volcano tours worldwide, in collaboration with trusted partners. We report data from the USGS and Volcano Discovery, enabling you to view the suppression of data that our government has been conducting for several years.
Oddly, by percentages, the USGS numbers increased noticeably more than those of Volcano Discovery, leaving us to wonder if the July 30, 8.8 earthquake made it into the Volcano Discovery report, and we found that it did.
Going forward, our Signs series will begin to include the magnitude breakout for earthquakes reported by Volcano Discovery. While the bigger numbers attract more attention, we’ll monitor the quakes between magnitude 3 and 4 because these reveal the use of tactical nukes to destroy underground DUMBs.
One thing we looked for in the July 30, 8.8 earthquake was evidence of a P wave. These precede the seismic wave and indicate a natural event. If there is no P wave, it is a nuke, and given the proximity of this event to Kamchatka, we were concerned that it could have been a tsunami bomb. Thankfully, there was a P wave; had it not happened, we would be a terrible nuclear standoff, not that it’s far off.
Preparing the Family
In terms of the pole shift, we advise having a Plan B location approximately 150 miles from a major shoreline at a height of 2,000 ASL. However, our concerns now are about tsunamis generated by earthquakes or impact events. As a precaution, look for a Plan B rally point location that is 15 miles or more from home with an elevation that is 200′ higher.
If possible, consider renting a small 5×10 storage locker in a secure facility, allowing you to store provisions, blankets, clothing, and jerry cans with water and fuel. Also, be sure to organize a way for family members to leave messages if you become separated.
You’ll want to get the family in the car for a leisurely drive to your rally point via side roads, if possible, and have your children take pictures of landmarks on the way, such as intersections with gas stations, road signs, and the like. Tell your children to leave these images on their phones and not to share them with anyone. Also, make sure you scan all of your family documents, such as birth certificates, licenses, into PDF files and store them on thumb drives.
With food, be practical. No processed products, as they will severely impact your gut health. Rather, consider purchasing organic canned food that you can eat on the way without needing to stop and cook. A bottle of your favorite Tabasco sauce can help offset the more bland flavor of organic products, without impairing your gut health.
Everyone will have unique issues to plan for, so there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, sit down with your spouse and think it through, and track events. A solar hand-crank Emergency Radio, with AM/FM/SW/NOAA Alert, cell phone charger, and flashlight, is advisable.
Above all else, prepare your family mentally so that when you announce that it is time to bug out, each will know what to do and will do so without hesitation, and practice it, because as the old saying goes, “a stitch in time saves nine.”
