Noam Chomsky joins King’s Politics to talk about the fall of Afghanistan and intervention in the Middle East.

Noam Chsomky is an academic of significant accomplishment, often hailed as the “father of modern linguistics” and one of the founders of cognitive science. He is currently Laureate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona and Institute Professor Emeritus at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has authored more than 150 books, ranging from “Manufacturing Consent” to “Who Rules The World” and “On Palestine”. Aside from his significant accomplishments in academia, he is an outspoken political activist, publicly opposing the Vietnam War and the 2003 Invasion of Iraq, whilst supporting the Occupy movement.
