The vastness of the universe stretches beyond the limits of human perception, instrumentation, and theoretical models, requiring astronomers to piece together clues from indirect evidence. This involves interpretations regarding the redshift of light, the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, and the distribution of matter across vast scales.
