Professor Noam Chomsky rebukes the then-US policy on Ukraine: supplying destructive ammunition and “fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian.” Meanwhile, diplomatic measures are not considered. The only peaceful solution, according to Professor Chomsky, is to neutralize Ukraine (exempting it from international alliances) and grant further rights to Russian-speaking minorities. However, the West is unlikely to entertain any solution that does not allow imperial expansion into the East.
