OCTOBER 1, 2005……..GHENT NEW YORK
While waiting for the school bus in 2005 or 2006 we both observed an object best described as a brown dome, possibly about 5 to 10 feet wide (measurements are difficult given our distance), hovering over a section of our road. We lived in a rural area with few houses and foot traffic. We grew up in this area and we know animals when we see them and that wasn’t it. At first I thought it was just me but then my brother asked “What is that?” After he asked it appeared to slowly float in an irregular zig zag pattern over the road while seeming to blink in and out of visibility. We were about 100-200 feet away but there’s no mistaking that what we were seeing was there, then it wasn’t, and then it was there. We watched it lazily do this for 1-2 minutes before slowly floating around a bend in the road. It was too far to examine the site because we would have missed our bus. I’m reporting this now to add our experience to the other sightings and I feel this is possibly extraterrestrial because I found declassified FBI papers that seem to describe something very similar. I’m an investigator for a living and I was briefly I’m the military, so facts are very important to me. I’m fine with conceding we can’t know that what we saw was extraterrestrial, but what I (we) will stand firm on is that we saw a hovering dome like object that appeared to blink in and out of visibility.
