The star is moving at a speed of 70,415 km/h, the dizzying speed of 20 km per second, and passes here at a distance of 0.01324 astronomical units, or about 1.9 million kilometers, according to Solar System Dynamics. (SSD) NASA’s JPL-Caltech.
