Following his first interview with UK Column, Morgan Lerette is back to talk about the involvement of private military contractors (PMCs) at some of the world’s crisis points. In particular, he explains how PMCs are used for the facilitation of child trafficking across the Mexico/US border, aid delivery in Gaza, the pursuit of Ukraine’s rare earth minerals, and the orchestration of famine in Sudan.
Morgan served in the US Air Force before joining Blackwater as a mercenary in Iraq in 2003. He subsequently worked in Army Intelligence and recently wrote a book about his experiences: Guns, Girls and Greed. Morgan writes for various publications and has an account on X.
