[TIME SUBJECT TO CHANGE]
United Launch Alliance (ULA) will utilize an Atlas V rocket in its 501 configuration to launch the first 27 operational Kuiper Satellites for Amazon’s global internet constellation. This mission, dubbed Kuiper Atlas 1 (KA-01), will lift off from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, deploying the 27 satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO) at an altitude of 450 km (280 miles). This is the first launch of a planned constellation of over 3,200 satellites. There’s a 2 hour launch window.
