Who could imagine a fear turning into a dream come through? Nomundari who has a fear of public speaking opened the High-Level Political Forum with her speech at the UN’s headquarter. From crying in front of her classmates without being able to say a single word to opening a forum with her speech in front of politicians she shows us that every little thing we do for ourselves can become one of our greatest achievements. Nomundari Urantulga is a 16-year-old girl who’s now in 11th grade. She is a climate activist, child rights defender, the young leader of world vision Mongolia and an international member of the child’s advisory team. She is the one in charge of Fridays for future movement in Mongolia which is a climate movement and climate is what she’s the most passionate about. In 2019 she opened the HLPF (High-Level Political Forum) with her speech about how climate change is affecting Mongolia. During her time there she attended as many side events as she can to let her voice be heard by different kinds of officials. This was the beginning of her international climate Act. After coming she joined the child rights connects child advisory team. In which she officially became a child rights defender. For now, she’s been attending international and national events and being a bridge between those who can’t speak for themselves and those who need to hear them.
