If we’re consuming fewer calories, why are we getting bigger?
Reported calorie intake has declined, yet obesity rates continue to rise. This contradiction exposes a deeper problem. Most people follow conventional advice—cut calories, diet harder, exercise more—only to find the weight doesn’t come off or inevitably returns. The frustration isn’t due to lack of effort; it’s the system itself.
Too many people are sold a simplified diet narrative that fails to address what actually drives weight gain. These approaches rarely move the needle because they ignore the broader environment shaping our health.
This is not accidental.
The modern food system operates in lockstep with chemical and medical industries, creating a cycle of exposure and treatment that benefits corporations, not individuals. Ultra-processed foods, environmental toxins, and pharmaceutical interventions reinforce one another, keeping people stuck in patterns of inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, and weight gain—despite doing “everything right.”
The result is a predictable loop: consume toxins, develop symptoms, manage consequences, repeat.
This week, I’m helping you break that cycle. In my free masterclass, 3 Ways to Achieve Weight Loss and Improve Your Health, I’ll explain what’s really happening and how to step out of a system designed to keep you stuck.
