Another round up of space news for the last two weeks, lots of launches outside of SpaceX. A massive purchase of radio spectrum rights by SpaceX, Martian biosignatures, hearings on Artemis, and Blue Origin’s ‘Blue Alchemist’ shows off critical tools for lunar industry.
Among all the space news was a bizarre story where a shipment of illicit drugs crashed in South America and the packages were ‘branded’ with SpaceX logos. This is not uncommon for similar well known brands like ‘Nike’ to be used in this fashion by criminal enterprises. So, to be clear, nothing to do with SpaceX, just someone using their logo without permission, and that’s the least of their crimes.
