Inversion Space held a launch event for their Arc spacecraft, a hypersonic glide vehicle which could carry packages of high value equiment from orbit and deliver it anywhere on Earth in under an hour.
While the technology could work, I’m not sure about the business case.
Regardless it seemed like a fun thing to build in Kerbal Space Program
