Are digital IDs going to prevent the immigration problem in the UK?
No.
It’s already illegal for undocumented immigrants to work, and yet employers still hire them, so I don’t think a digital ID will change that.
On the other hand, the digital ID will require you to have biometric data on file to access financial systems, including bank accounts, credit cards, and all other financial services.
This is what you’re signing up for when you get the Real ID in the U.S. and the digital ID overseas.
The U.K. has already set a deadline for August 2029, which means we have a few years to prevent digital ID from becoming mandatory.
Stay diligent and refuse any biometric scanning.
You can still pay with cash and store your assets in tangible forms to take them out of the system.
We need to take these steps now if we want to secure our freedom.
