The film unveils the profound wisdom woven into Māori healing traditions, illuminating pathways to mend intergenerational trauma and cultural loss. It contrasts Western trauma frameworks with Māori ancestral medicine, where land, body, and spirit are inseparable.
Through the voices of Māori healers, Mauri reveals ancestral wisdom and healing traditions that guide collective remembering, intergenerational repair, and reconnection with land, body, and spirit.
