It is so important that we all help educate each other about what is happening in the world, so it was wonderful to be able to meet Jonathan Hines, a former professional in what we can now call ‘legacy media’, at the Sounds Beautiful event. Jonathan was happy to chat about his journey from his old media job, nine years working on a top UK online radio and mainstream talk show, to his new life, where he has made time to create his own media. Always an independent thinker, his journey really started when he began to question political material about the European Union.
He became very outspoken about Covid and lockdown rules, and moved on to really question many ‘agendas’ spreading in today’s society. In his interview with me, Jonathan particularly focuses on ‘wokeism’ and the antagonism it helps create. We also cover the impact of the Government’s Behavioural Insights Team and politically applied psychology.
