Amidst this turmoil, is it possible for each of us to see things very clearly as they are?
If I am confused, whatever I do will produce confusion.
You are in the middle of a jungle of ideas, violence and hatred, the result of tremendous confusion. When you see that, what will you do?
If you have stopped, your mind can look.
Why do I commit myself to anything?
In avoiding what I am, I never find out what I am.
Why can’t I look at you without the machinery of thought?
